Solo and Improvisation 

Week 1- July 2026

Using the A minor pentatonic scale, we learn how to use 2- Note, 3-Note, 4-Note Groupings, a bit of call and response, articulation, slides, and using space. 

What I learned:  to leave space, to have a bit of a theme, to use articulation (I did practice hammer-ons and pull offs, but not in video), and to start feeling a bit more musical inside.

How to  frame the phrases, using rhythmic plug-ins, and how call & response works and how to use them

What I learned:  Use dynamics more... or actually have them. Practice the hammer-ons and pulls-offs in a deliberate way.
